Veggie Upma
ingredients:
1 cup rava or Suji ( fried in ghee/oil)
1 onion chopped
1 small carrot diced in small pieces
1/4 cup peas
1 small tomato chopped
4-5 green beans chopped
corriander Leaves
1/2tsp lemon juice
1tbsp sugar
salt to taste

For seasoning:

1/2tsp turmeric
1/2tsp mustard Seeds
3-4 green or red chillies
1/2tsp urad dhal
5-6 curry Leaves
Oil 1 tbsp

Method:

Heat oil and prepare seasoning ,add onion,saute till golden brown,now add tomatoes and all the vegetables and fry them till they are half cooked, add suji and saute one more minute.(if the suji is unfried,fry it now till it gives aroma and changes color to very light brown) Now add water ( double the quantity of suji used), salt and sugar and mix it well. cover it and let it simmer for a while.Finally garnish with corriander leaves(cilantro) & sprinkle lemon juice and mix well.
