Method: Heat ghee in a heavy kadhai/ deep pan. Add cashew pieces and fry till they changes color to light golden. Now add sooji and roast till lightly golden in color. Add milk, almonds, raisins and saffron, boil on low flame till sooji is completely cooked. Stir frequently to avoid sticking to bottom. Add sugar and cardamom powder and stir till sugar dissolves. Serve hot. |
