Ingredients:
4 cups whole milk dahi (Yogurt)
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 tsp saffron strands
1/4 tsp powdered cardamom
1 tbsp milk
for garnishing finely chopped pistachios/ almonds (optional)
Method: Put dahi in a cheese cloth/ muslin cloth and hang it for 2-3 hours to drain the whey from it. When the dahi is drained completely, remove from cloth in a mixing bowl. Warm the milk and put saffron in it. Now start adding sugar and cardamom powder to dahi and mix well until sugar blends in it. Add saffron milk to it and mix again. refrigerate for 1-2 hours before serving. Garnish with nuts.
