Chutney may be dry or wet; they are always tasty and mouth watering! Dry chutney is generally in the form of powder. In Maharashtra khobryachi chutney (dry coconut chutney), shengdanyachi chutney ( peanut chutney), tilachi chutney (sesame seed chutney) are very famous dry chutneys in marathi people. Even some of wet chutneys are also famous like "thecha", very spicy red/ green chilli paste with other ingredients. In south India chutneys are like must with some of their special dishes.
